Not everyone is aware of the option to register one of the most anticipated and memorable events following a wedding, the honeymoon.

Almost everyone is familiar with the honeymoon registry process. The future bride and groom select items ranging from diner place settings to household gadgets that will assist with setting up their new home. But with the average age of most newlyweds in the mid to late 20’s, many are already prepared to combine their possessions providing for a well equipped home. This is when registering the honeymoon with a travel agency becomes an even more valuable alternative.

But how does it work?

Registration is a simple process for the couple. By providing their contact information to a personal honeymoon consultant they have initiated the process. The consultant will record their registration and establish an account ready to record gift amounts. The couple is not required to select the destination, date, or any details of the honeymoon at this point. Their personal consultant will review with the couple their interests and budget.

The couple would then place the travel agency contact information with notice of registration on invitations to bridal showers, parties, and include with wedding invitations. Guests wishing to give the gift of travel would then contact the personal travel consultant with the gift amount they wish to present to the couple. A gift certificate is prepared for the purchaser.
