TradeWinds Island Grand Resort review

Showing it's age a little bit but still a great place for families. Kids will love all the things to do and great for parents because it is reasonably priced. There are two different TradeWinds Resorts on St. Pete Beach... the Island Grand and the Sandpiper. This review is for the Island Grand only. St. Petersburg Beach itself is not quite as nice and modern as nearby Clearwater Beach but it is also less expensive to stay and eat in this area. The area and hotel itself kind of reminded me of the Myrtle Beach area. There were a few places to eat on the resort grounds which all looked very casual and menus that kids would like. Fortunately there are many nice restaurants nearby that adults may find more appealing. Finding a quiet place to relax is going to be difficult at this resort because of the large number of young kids but for kids, for the price, it is hard to beat. It has a nice pool area, a great beach and a large inflatable slide that kids will love.
